xMate is an articulated robot for flexible collaboration with humans. It is based on a seven-axis structural design and can be used in industrial settings as well as in auxiliary surgery or physiotherapy contexts to relieve people of dangerous and monotonous work. The robot features sensitive force perception and collision detection, along with flexible, precise motion and force control technology. A graphical programming tool installed on a smartphone or tablet is used to operate the robot.
