This product was developed to solve a common problem with umbrella stands, where the umbrellas get tangling and leave puddles of water around the stand due to dripping. This item solves the problem from both functionality and design perspectives. Thanks to the internal conical tray the umbrella handles are spaced further apart and are unlikely to become entangled. The diatomite conical tray also has excellent water absorption and drying functions, and is hygienic. This product meets the main criterion of great design: it is only as complicated as it needs to be!
