The design theme of this packaging is “waste turned to gold.” The paper container is 100% recycled pulp made of white bamboo shoots and bagasse from agricultural waste. It contains zinnia seeds that begin to sprout when watered, after which soil is added. The whole process produces nearly zero carbon emissions, and afterward the zinnias can be transplanted outside into the ground. This packaging was awarded a Taiwanese patent. Zinnias are a symbol of luck in Chinese culture, so the box is a nice gift to express good wishes or congratulations.
