The freeformer 3D printer was developed for manufacturing plastic parts. The glass front can be rotated upwards and source materials are refilled from the side, thus making the machine easy to access and operate. Since the printer smoothly fits through standard door frames, it can be set up not only on shop floors, but also in office and laboratory settings. When the printer is not in use, the touchscreen can be swivelled towards the front of the device.
