The objective pursued in designing the uDR 370i was to create an X-ray unit for use in developing countries. The system is only 58 cm wide and therefore able to fit through narrow corridors. The batteries for the trolley and the X-ray unit are separate, which enables uninterrupted use for 21 days. The 19" LCD touchscreen presents all data clearly. With the help of a tablet PC, operators can do imaging remotely, which thus optimally protects them from radiation damage.
