The compact XF 16 mm F2.8 wide-angle lens has been developed for the Compact Prime series of interchangeable lenses of the X series. It is available in two colours, features a bright aperture of f / 2.8 and a focal length of 16 mm (equivalent to 24 mm in the 35 mm format). The indented front end of the lens makes it easier for the photographer to look at the viewfinder while focusing. The lens is comfortable to handle thanks to its low weight of only 155 grams.
