The robotic prosthetic hand Mia can move the individual fingers independently and performs the most common grasp movements. Thanks to sensor technology, the hand knows when and how an object is touched or grasped. While the size and its anthropomorphic­ally correct proportions seem human, the aesthetics and materials deliberately have a technical character. With these details, wearers can express their pride in wearing such an innovative prosthesis.
