Green standards and low operating costs were key considerations in the design of this streetlight. As an independent system, a solar panel produces clean energy, which is stored in lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to LED lighting, energy can be used efficiently and without waste. Thanks to its easy and plain form, the light blends harmoniously into the urban environment, without attracting unwanted attention like common photovoltaic streetlights. Therefore, the batteries were not placed in a separate box but arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way on the back of the solar panel.
