In this irrigation system, a functional design principle stresses the high practical value. The innovative oscillating sprinkler features convenient functions: a splash guard was newly developed, which makes it possible to align the operating lawn sprinkler without getting wet. To this end, one part of the nozzles is covered with a rotatable screen creating a rain shadow, under which the user is protected when positioning and setting the sprinkler. Nevertheless he has the possibility to check the spray width. The flow rate is infinitely adjustable to achieve an efficient use of water. Similarly, the range of irrigation can be accurately adjusted with regard to width and angle. The striking appearance with a slim nozzle beam and wide support is based on the “Wankel form”, a manufacturer-specific basic motif of this garden tool family. A functional grey accentuates the control elements, which is typical of the brand. The yellow control creates a fresh colour accent.
