The dark dial of the Astroscope displays the weekdays by referring to old astronomical symbols that date back to the Babylonian calendar. Above the circular date window, a horizon is suggested, enhancing the impression of looking at a nocturnal sky. The numerals are displayed in a fine serif typeface and the astronomical symbols are coated with luminous paint. The single-hand watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement, which can be viewed through the glass back.
