The outer bezel indicates the times for administering medication. The second hand is rotor-shaped and serves as a scale for monitoring the pulse in ­15-second intervals. The timepiece has no sharp edges, so that gloves re­main undamaged. Due to innovative mechanisms, the strap and rotary bezel can be easily removed for disinfection.
