The design of Punto is based on the analysis of historic door handles and their shape. The design references discoveries made which become apparent primarily in the details that are of great significance for the final form. The classical look of Punto, developed during the design process, is defined by the balanced relationship between the geometric shapes. In this way, the door handle, which is comfortable to use, combines a both rectilinear and an organically curvaceous stylistic idiom.
