ROBOTRAX – the 3D flexible cable and hose carrier. ROBOTRAX is flexible like a person’s spinal column – suitable for swivel and rotary motions which have to be carried out with extreme precision. A steel cable in its core provides extraordinary tensile strength. Torsion in the longitudinal axis of up to +/-380° per metre is possible. Bending radius stops in the ball joint ensure that the minimum bending radius is observed. This extends the service life of the cables, facilitating trouble free operation. The smooth inner surfaces of the ROBOTRAX form a surface which is very gentle on the cables and hoses. Open design of the system makes it easy to inspect the cables and hoses. The interiors of the links are subdivided into three equally-sized chambers. This provides secure routing. In this development project, particular emphasis was placed on combining function with a modern, attractively-shaped design. The ROBOTRAX series includes sizes R 040, R 056, R 085 and R 100.
