Telepresence aims to create immersive meeting experiences. However, its purpose is significantly undermined particularly in multiple-site meetings. Each screen is designed to only display one remote video feed or material. Many meeting attendees are not visible to others. The new design uses each individual person as a discrete display element, which allows all participants being visible at all time based on context. It also allows mobile devices to interact with the conferencing system. Gestural interaction is also incorporated in the system. It fundamentally redefines telepresence experience, and takes business communication to a new level.
