The CLP-F01 has been designed in accordance with contemporary living spaces in terms of appearance, warmth and natural beauty. The form harmonizes with modern interior tastes, but it nevertheless has an independent, unobtrusive personality. The piano’s basic elements have been carefully integrated in a keyboard unit, which in turn is connected to a slim, vertical panel containing the speakers and pedal mechanism. In the design process all aspects of the instrument – including its acoustic design, internal mechanism and structure – were reassessed, whilst a clear, simple form concept carefully balances the horizontal and vertical elements. Even though the CLP-F01’s form is very different from that of the ordinary electronic piano, it still maintains a natural integrity of its own.
