Inclusive design turns stereotypes upside down. The Preotact® pen is an injection device used fo the treatment of osteoporosis. The first reusable injection pen with a side trigger that requires less strength to activate, serves as a grip, is flexible and comfortable for the hand. Users with poor hand strength or dexterity problems are not excluded whilst a daisy-shaped needle guard creates a friendly look and simplifies handling. Knowledge of end-user requirements is a competitive advantage as products become similar and the Preotact® pen, inspired by its users, allows patients to take medication independently and increases quality of life.
