Equipped with a pocket door fitting developed by bulthaup, the door can be opened with a light touch and slides silently into the unit so that it is out of the way. It provides a further working area with internal fittings including stainless steel shelving, sockets and lighting that can be individually enhanced for flexible use, for example as a small appliance cabinet or as a bar cabinet. In contrast to the classical shutter unit the bulthaup top-mounted unit can be integrated seamlessly into a row of cabinets and when opened is a real eye-catcher. Pull-out storage boxes in aluminum make the area above the head useful in new ways.
