With the 2° System, Schüco has developed a comprehensive, adaptive and proactive energy building envelope. It encompasses all functions that influence the energy requirements of a building and integrates them into a consistent and scalable design concept. Two adaptive components – the layer system and the thermoactive wall – reduce the energy requirements of buildings by at least 80% compared with current legal regulations, and can even achieve a positive energy balance. The adaptive functions allow the system to create maximum energy efficiency, comfort and transparency in all situations.
