In an effort to create an interface between glass doors and door handles for the “Characters” collection, sieger design came up with the GATE apron for Griffwerk. With its clearly defined, minimalist contours, it is designed as a stage for an array of door handles and is an esthetically pleasing, technically effective device. Milled from a solid material (aluminum), each edge is shaped to precision and the face area kept perfectly flat. The closing of doors becomes convenient and quiet thanks to features such as the magnetic latch. GATE is available in stainless steel (matt or polished), as well as in a shiny copper-and-gold version.
