The NEFF maintenance cables are adapters which, in combination with software, allow access to NEFF positioner products in process automation applications. These adaptors are used mainly during commissioning or maintenance and allow configuration, parameterization and diagnostics. For the purposes of data transmission, a maintenance cable is connected via a USB socket to a Windows-capable terminal. The user interface in the form of a LED display provides information on the device status. Self-explanatory symbols eliminate the need for labelling of the user interface.
