This porcelain shop and gallery is located in the Hasami district of Nagasaki, Japan. It displays and sells the world-famous Saikai porcelain. The key design question when working on this project was: ‘What can only be done with this client?’ The answer was a total revamp of the internal and external structure while staying true to the spirit of the artists working with Saikai porcelain.
