The space for the bar is a box with 3 glass walls and expansive views of the golf course. The project was to design a lounge for a golf club that could be designed and constructed in 6 weeks. It also had to be beautiful, functional as a lounge and appropriate for golf competition awards ceremonies. For a 3 sided glass box in the middle of a golf course, the best approach was to bring the greens, the sky and some notion of golf into the bar, by the colors of the furnishings and the reflections in the mosaic mirror back bar.
