Kodolé is a triangular mixed-material paving slab with a heel around the base of each piece. The heel makes it easier to lay paving slabs to create paving with fillable joints that do not require spacers. Inspired by stone and natural shapes, the continuous heel around the base allows for contact between each slab and transfers loads across the paved surface. The paving joints are open and vary in size, and can be filled with granular material or vegetation without the need for spacers. Kodolé paving uses iron oxides for pigment, which guarantees the color is resistant to ultraviolet rays and the weather.
