The Spindiag Rhonda system allows gold-standard laboratory PCR tests for COVID-19 to be performed by any person with basic medical qualifications and without the need for a laboratory. The testing system is developed for the detection of bacterial and viral pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2 at the point of care. The system allows at-risk patients to be tested – and isolated if needed – within approximately 40 minutes. The design of the testing system is very simple to use in order to enable all medical staff to carry out laboratory tests independently.
