These models are Epson's first resin ink printer for large sign vendors. The company wanted to improve environmental performance, productivity, and workflow for the operator to meet the needs of its customers. These new printers use water-based resin ink, which is packaged in large-capacity ink packs, reducing ink cartridge waste by about 10 percent. Two sets of large-capacity ink packs make it possible to operate continuous printing, improving workflow. Moreover, resin ink dries quickly so that outputs can be delivered more quickly. And the large window with LED lighting makes it easier for the operator to check printing status. Plus, the front full open cover structure is safer to use and easier to maintain.
