The design of Hale was inspired by the classic school chair: simple, functional, no-nonsense. These principles are not only reflected in Hale's form factor but also in how it’s made. The chair is produced from recycled steel and plastic bottles. With Hale, De Vorm and Ivan Kasner brought PET Felt technology to the next level. The designers managed to turn a previous 3-step manufacturing process into a single molding action. The smart design backed by a sustainable material choice makes Hale a lightweight and stackable chair for all-purpose use in offices.
