The concept of the ASUS PureGo is targeted on detecting pesticides and contaminants on fruits and vegetables. For this purpose, the practically designed appliance made of food-safe silicone rubber is placed in the water that contains the food. A sensor measures the degree of contamination on it. The appliance as well as the corresponding application indicate whether the food is clean or requires further cleaning. After use, the minimalist appliance is put back into the wireless charging station.
