The AC-1 endoscopy system was specially developed for primary care in rural areas of Africa, India and Latin America. It is small, lightweight and integrates all components centrally in one casing in order to counteract space problems in small hospitals. Two LED lamps are built into the endoscope, providing an alternative to a separate light source. The operation via touchscreen enables intuitive use of the device and promotes a positive user experience.
