These shoes, made of biodegradable plastic, were developed with Korean bathroom culture in mind. In Korea, bathrooms generally have a wet floor and a swing door with a wide opening in which shower sandals can get caught. For that reason, Slimpper has a particularly flat shape but is elastic enough to fit the instep. The shoe has tiny holes to allow water to run off while the circular profiling on the sole prevents users from slipping.
