Less is More is a flush plate for toilets, which is available in black, white, brushed or polished. Its designer, Alessio Pinto, was inspired by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and his design principle “less is more”, as well as by the history of the mechanism, and wanted to give it an innovative and sustainable form. “Plus and minus, not more and not less” is his motto. The plate therefore displays neither signs nor symbols, but simply offers two grey nylon cords as the control options.
