The Balance staircase has been designed to fulfil not only functional requirements, but also aesthetic ones. Like every staircase, its basic function is to connect the floors and rooms of a building, linking together different areas. However, it can also be used as a display cabinet for presenting objects, atmospherically illuminated by LED strips recessed in the shelves. The staircase is manufactured in a selection of solid wood varieties from sustainable forestry and individually hand-crafted to measure.
