The ThinkBook X focuses on small- and medium-sized businesses. The laptop is very lightweight and durable, as the cover is made of aluminium and the body of an aluminium alloy. The design vocabulary is based on a book so as to illustrate that books and laptops are information carriers. The back of the laptop is rounded like the spine of a book and offers a good grip when touching it. The laptop can also be charged during use via the included charging mat.
