LUISA is a portable, compact device for life support ventilation. It is used in a vertical or horizontal position and can be flexibly placed by a wheelchair or bedside. The battery life of up to 18 hours gives users a large radius of action, and the 10" touchscreen allows intuitive use, like a smartphone. The design, inspired by consumer electronics, helps to reduce the patient’s fear of stigmatisation.
