There are around 12,000 schools in South Korea. Every year, 300 are renovated. The renovations generally take a year. This Bridge School ensures that no lessons are missed during this period. It can be erected in the school yard within just 20 days. The compact building, which takes up roughly a third of the surface of a regular school building, is composed of separate, pre-assembled modules that provide room facilities equipped for different purposes. The modules are thermally insulated and constructed to be earthquake-proof. In the interest of sustainability, the modules can be reused time and again.
