VELYS consists of an operating platform and an easily manoeuvrable robot arm for use in knee replacement surgery. The system displays a step-by-step guide of the respective procedure, enabling seamless collaboration within the surgical team and improving the efficiency of clinical procedures. It provides the surgeon with various data, visualisations and predictions. A high-speed camera and optical reflectors help to adjust and control the resection plane for accurate, consistent execution.
