This rehabilitation robot teaches patients with motor dysfunction in their lower extremities how to walk normally again. It recognises the patient’s movement intentions via sensors and, with the help of motors on the joints, provides the necessary support for moving properly. The exoskeleton can be individually adapted and, due to the reduced weight of the control unit, is lighter than the predecessor model.
