The optical network unit in the Huawei OptiXstar ONU Industrial Series supports 5G networks and offers ultra-broadband channels. Its security and performance capability make this energy-efficient device suitable for industrial scenarios, such as power distribution suppliers, mines, oil and gas fields, railway stations and production lines. In comparison with conventional switched networks, power consumption can be reduced by around 40 per cent, improving the CO2 balance.
