The design objective in creating the Icon-X basin mixer collection was to bring function and design into harmony. The flat water tap, characterised by clear contours, is remarkably slim in profile. The controls, available as star knobs or levers, continue the expressive combination of vertical and horizontal lines. In addition to titanium, carbon gold constitutes the special materiality of the taps: the material, which is also used for boats and racing cars among others, achieves an organic surface texture.
