E-pit Ultra Fast Charger has been developed with a human-centred approach, so that it can be easily and comfortably used. Especially the “Cable Helper Mechanism” significantly improves the thick and heavy cable’s manoeuvrability. First, the device identifies vehicles with a built-in camera and automatically rotates right or left to match the position of vehicle’s charging inlet. This mechanism also provides a height adjustment of 600 mm up/down to increase the cable range. In order to give additional reliance to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, an UV light system inside the charger sterilises the charging coupler after usage.
