ZEISS UVClean is a UV-C chamber specially developed for disinfecting spectacles. It was designed with the special shape of eyeglasses in mind to ensure that a sufficient dose of light hits the spectacles without creating any shadows. ZEISS UVClean works with four UV-C lamps and has safety features such as a self-locking lid and a ventilation system. At the touch of a button, up to ten pairs of spectacles can be disinfected in 40 seconds, killing up to 99.5 per cent of viruses and bacteria.
