The appearance of the NYNY UNIT, which draws inspiration from post-modernist styles and the graphic playfulness of the 1980s, is determined by the asymmetrical arrangement of geometric elements. This style is accentuated by the contrasting colour scheme of the materials used – steam-bent wood and woven cane. Each element is attached to a metal construction fixed to the wall. The lower section consists of two drawers; above are two compartments with doors, of which the lower compartment can also function as a desk.
