ProWalk is an exoskeleton intended to facilitate gait training in patients with hemiplegia. As soon as the user starts moving, the system actively supports him or her when bending or straightening the knee and, at the same time, protects it from hyperextension. Thanks to the frame made of ultralight carbon fibre, the exoskeleton weighs only 2.5 kg despite the rechargeable battery and the motors. It can be quickly put on and taken off and is individually adapted to the user’s body dimensions.
