The Rizse autonomous drone system was developed to streamline the inspection of aircraft. It is able to carry out initial fuselage inspection ten times faster than was previously possible, helping to prevent aeroplanes from being grounded longer than necessary as a result of planned or unplanned maintenance. The surface data is retained and a smart damage-detection system uses artificial intelligence to locate damage.
