The XZ4055 is an innovative horizontal directional drill powered by a lithium-ion battery. The drill does not produce any emmisions and operates at a low noise level. Its rotary cab provides a clear all-round view, and the controls are within the operator’s reach because of their comfortable layout. A smart human-machine interaction system visualises the drill processes and facilitates the control and monitoring thereof, thus reducing the number of operators from five to two. At a width of 2.1 metres, the machine can be transported in a container.
