The new Dell XPS 12 is a dual-mode premium convertible laptop PC designed to support both productivity and entertainment activities. The PC converts from laptop mode to touch-interface tablet mode through an innovative flip- hinge system and supports a 12.5” HD display protected by rugged Gorilla glass from edge to edge. The enclosure bottom and lid-top are constructed of lightweight Carbon fiber, and the palm rest is made of durable Magnesium and surrounds a large glass surface gesture touchpad with integrated buttons. The design is based on global research that focused on key trends of the future workforce and workplace.
