Thanks to Swisstom BB² we can watch the lungs breathe. Using an electrode belt fastened to the thorax images of regional lung function are created in real-time. So it becomes possible for the first time to adjust mechanical ventilation treatment to their changing lung conditions immediately. The user interface presents complex data in a transparent way. The main display is divided into three separate views. Any one of these views can be selected intuitively by tapping it. Although the other views still remain visible, they now show clinically essential data only. The clear and friendly design helps to quickly pick up the information needed.
