Back Infusion is a new type of infusion device designed to be carried on the back. The device consists of a vest and steel frame that the patient wears on their upper body. The drip bottle is attached to a hook of the steel frame for the infusion. Back Infusion gives the patient much more freedom of movement without the burden of having to push or pull a conventional drip bottle rack to move about. The device also makes it much easier to use the toilet during an infusion, decreasing stress and adding to the patient's comfort.
