PEEKABOO is an all-plastic stool characterized by its monolithic form, stability, and strength. The soft peel-back seating surface, reveals the stool’s cross-section and contrasts with the rigidity of the main structure. The role of the gently raised seat surface is trifold. It creates a minimum backrest surface, while the gap it creates from the main body allows the user to easily lift the stool. Then, when the stools are stacked, it avoids the “vacuum-effect” that makes it difficult to separate stacked stools. Finally, the perimetric full-body geometry makes PEEKABOO easier and faster for the manufacturer to develop and produce.
