This variable distance fabric is woven on a new global innovative two-and-a-half dimensional (2.5D) weaving machine. This machine can weave symmetrical and variable distance stereoscopic textile fabrics. The process involves weaving three layers of a textile structure at once: a top layer 2D fabric, a bottom layer 2D fabric, and a connecting layer 1D fiber, which together comprise the 2.5D fabric structure.
