Inspired by Hong Kong’s multi-culturalism, this design presents cultural diversity through its exciting use of color, pattern, pace, age, shape, and texture. The design draws from the notion of old Shanghai – Paris in the Orient as its blueprint, functioning as a type of time travel between past and present, a bridge connecting antique with modernity, liveliness with peace, east with west, domestic with exotic. Contrasting qualities of elevation and indentation, relaxation and invigoration, glossy and matt materials achieve an overall harmony. Every corner of the space is full of symbols, patterns, and details, making it a striking display of art, culture, and fashion.
